There are numerous things to do in Coeur d’Alene.

Despite the fact that the water is too chilly to enjoy at this time of year, Coeur d’Alene has a plethora of activities to choose from. A few of our favorite Fall activities are listed here.

Shopping

Many family-owned and locally owned companies may be found in Coeur d’Alene. Toy and confectionery businesses, as well as antiques, novelty items, and souvenirs, among other things, are available. There are plenty of interesting shops to peruse whether you’re seeking for anything specific or just want to wander around. You’ll need that pumpkin spice latte since you’ll be busy for quite some time!

Hiking

Are you and your family more interested in the outdoors? If that’s the case, check out Tubbs Hill. This famous hiking trail, which is located on the east side of the Coeur d’Alene Resort, will lead you along the water’s edge all the way out to the point where Lake Coeur d’Alene can be seen in the distance. The Fall is the ideal season to embark on this excursion with the family because the searing temperatures have subsided and the weather is typically great!

Restaurants

Are you interested in sampling some local cuisine? If this is the case, Coeur d’Alene provides a plethora of excellent options for you. You won’t have to deal with long lines or packed streets because the majority of tourists have returned home for the school year, which is the finest part about this time of year. Win-win!

Take a boat ride on the lake

The best thing to do in Coeur d’Alene during the Fall is to go for a lake cruise! In addition to a large number of daily cruises, there are also certain speciality cruises, such as the Oktoberfest cruise. On the cruises, you can relax and lounge around while doing the following:

Take a few photographs.

Have you ever been to the inland northwest during the Fall season? Everything about it is extremely breathtaking! With mild temperatures and crystal-clear skies, you’re sure to get some fantastic family photos of everyone out on the deck this summer!

Take pleasure in the flora.

It isn’t Fall unless there is vibrant foliage in the trees. When you’re out on the ocean, you’ll see every shade of red, yellow, and orange that you can imagine. Honestly, we don’t know what else to say to get you pumped up about the game!

Take a sip of cider

Interested in cuddling up and relaxing while the boat takes you around the beautiful Lake Superior? You have a lot of strength! Bring a cup of coffee or cider, as well as a lovely warm blanket, and you’ll have a magnificent afternoon that you’ll remember for years to come.
