The location at 101 E Best Ave is the only Baskin-Robbins shop in Coeur D’Alene. As a result of Baskin-Robbins’ franchising and remodeling efforts, the ice cream icon is pleased to welcome local community members Kristine and Brian Schmunk as franchisees for the location, and show off a brand new look to the store. To celebrate, they will host a Grand Re-Opening event on September 2nd from noon to 4:00 p.m, with the fun continuing on Saturday September 9th, 16th, and 23rd.
As long-time fans of the brand, Brian and Kristine have renovated the ice cream specialty shop in Coeur D’Alene to share the Baskin-Robbins experience and its world-class ice cream, ice cream cakes, frozen beverages and other ice cream treats with the community.
This will be Kristine and Brian’s second Baskin-Robbins store. “Baskin-Robbins has been a part of my family nearly my entire life,” said Kristine, Baskin-Robbins franchisee. “My parents owned a Baskin-Robbins shop in 1984, and Brian and I are very excited to expand with the brand and carry on a family tradition.”
Baskin-Robbins’ new location in Coeur D’Alene will feature the brand’s wide range of premium ice cream flavors, including classics like Pralines ‘n Cream, Jamoca® Almond Fudge and Mint Chocolate Chip, as well as a new Flavor of the Month every month.
The Flavor of the Month for September is Belgian Waffle, which features maple praline-flavored ice cream, swirled with waffle pieces and praline pieces, and wrapped with a creamy caramel ribbon. In addition, the shop will offer a selection of custom ice cream cakes, frozen beverages, ice cream sundaes, Warm Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches and Polar Pizza® Ice Cream Treats.
