Nick Smoot is the founder and leader of the “INNOVATION COLLECTIVE,” which is a membership organization. Nick grew up in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, where he still resides. Nick Smoot left his hometown after high school and invested in three distinct technology companies. He designed and built them, and he was successful in selling them.
With his newfound success as a Nationally Recognized Entrepreneur, Nick Smoot has returned with his family to Coeur d’Alene to assist up and coming entrepreneurs in building a profitable business in new and emerging technologies that have the potential to transform the world. Nick is passionate in assisting his community of Coeur d’Alene in its efforts to become a leading force in robotics and artificial intelligence research and development. With the purpose of developing high-paying opportunities in Coeur d’Alene so that our children and grandchildren who grow up in CDA can remain and raise their own families in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Nick was the driving force behind the “Think Big Festival” in Coeur d’Alene. A biennial event that empowers entrepreneurs, the Think Big Festival examines the speed at which technology is evolving and how entrepreneurs can participate in its advancement. The Think Big Festival, which takes place every August in our beautiful city of Coeur d’Alene, is an annual event. Putting the spotlight on the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence. The event will feature a diverse group of accomplished and talented minds from companies such as Microsoft, Boeing, Johns Hopkins APL, Gizmo, and Facebook, among others.
The Think Big Festival, which takes place every summer in Coeur d’Alene, is a large event. Every summer, we host a number of well-known entrepreneurs in our town. Bringing our lovely lake city to the attention of thought-provoking speakers, live demonstrations of drones, driverless vehicles, robotics, and technology parties in the city are all planned. The “DEN,” or the Coeur d’Alene Innovation Collective, is what makes the city great! The new “Den” may be found at the intersection of Lakeside Avenue and 5th Street. This is a stunning facility that will serve as a home for the offices of firms who are pioneering new technologies in artificial intelligence and robotics. Many local entrepreneurs have relocated to the “DEN” (Denver Innovation Collective) in order to provide their employees with a stimulating work environment.
