Obtaining access to Hayden Lake
You should keep in mind that there are three boat ramps on the lake if you plan on taking your boat out on the water.
One of the first may be found in Tobler’s Marina, where you can get a full range of services such as gas delivery, boat rentals, and more. The lovely Honeysuckle beach is next, where you can enjoy the roped-off swimming area around the pier, as well as public changing areas and fully equipped restrooms, among other amenities.
You can also launch your boat from Sportmans Park, which is located near the northern end of the Lake. It offers some excellent campgrounds, and as an added benefit, it is normally rather sluggish, so you should be able to pull your boat in nice and easily without the hassle of some of the other ramps!

Mokins Bay campground is located on the eastern bank of Hayden Lake, close to the Canadian border. Although the campground is small, it is tucked amongst towering pines, with a backdrop of quirky wildflowers as a backdrop. From the comfort of the campground, take in the views of the Coeur d’Alene mountains.
Also nearby is the Tamarack RV Park, which is located within the city boundaries of Coeur d’Alene but is surrounded by pines, allowing you to enjoy the feeling of camping in the shade of the trees while yet having the convenience of being close to the city. If you don’t have an RV, you might want to consider renting a vacation house in this area.
Finally, the Alpine Country Store and RV Park, which is located just outside of Hayden, is worth a visit. This park is only a few minutes away from the Honeysuckle Beach boat ramp, providing easy access to the lake. In addition to having wide sites with grass between them so that you can enjoy your space, this location is well-known for its long-term rentals.
